What is square dancing?
Think Simon Says for adults, set to music. A caller tells the group what to do — everybody learns together. We dance modern all-position style: no gender roles in who you are, only in where you stand.
All-position by design — dance with whoever you want
When we dance
Every Sunday 2–4pm at the Masonic Lodge Hall, 21 Hartill St, Edmonton. Classes run progressively over 8 weeks — join any time. Stay for a cuppa and a chat afterwards - share yums and make connections. Of course you're welcome to bring a plate to share too if you want.
Everybody belongs here
Singles, couples, families, LGBTQ+ people, allies and complete beginners. If you can walk, you can learn to square dance. Community-first. Connection over perfection.
